Summary
The bill aims to create AI resources for small businesses by amending the National Institute of Standards and Technology Act. This act would insert a new subsection that would require:
- The development and dissemination of resources related to AI that promote adoption and integration into small businesses.
- That the resources provided to small businesses are applicable and relevant for a wide range of small businesses and are technology neutral and consistent with the Stevenson-Wydler Technology Innovation Act of 1980.
- The inclusion of references and recommendations to already existing Federal educational resources, namely the national cybersecurity awareness and education program created through the Cybersecurity Enhancement Act of 2014.
Moreover, the resources must be updated every two years and disseminated in collaboration with the Small Business Administration.
