Summary

Assemblymember Jacqui Irwin introduced the bill that would require all AI developers to make their training data available to Californians by 2026. Developers would also be compelled to disclose whether synthetic data was used to train their systems, but would exempt AI systems whose purpose is to help ensure security and integrity, among other provisions.
