Zander Arnao

Zander Arnao is a Policy Intern at the Data Transfer Initiative (DTI) where he writes about data portability and analyzes policy developments relevant to DTI’s issue portfolio. Prior to DTI, Zander served as a Public Interest Technology Fellow at the Federal Trade Commission, supporting the enforcement of American truth-in-advertising laws in adtech. He has also contributed opinion pieces analyzing technology policy to several publications, including The Chicago Policy Review, TechTank, and Tech Policy Press. Zander holds a Master’s in International Relations and Bachelor’s in Public Policy from the University of Chicago. He wrote his Master’s thesis on international data transfers between the United States and European Union.
