Yohannes Eneyew Ayalew (PhD) is currently a Sessional Academic at the Faculty of Law, Monash University, Australia. His doctoral research explored the question of balancing privacy and freedom of expression in the digital environment under the African human rights system. His academic and research interest spans the areas of human rights in the digital age, law and technology, media law, African and international human rights law, international humanitarian law and Third World Approaches to International Law (TWAIL).
