Victor Pickard

Victor Pickard is the C. Edwin Baker Professor of Media Policy and Political Economy at the University of Pennsylvania’s Annenberg School for Communication, where he co-directs the Media, Inequality & Change (MIC) Center. He has published more than 150 articles, essays, and book chapters and he often writes for popular outlets like The GuardianThe Washington PostColumbia Journalism ReviewHarvard Business Review, JacobinThe Atlantic, and The Nation. He has authored or edited six books, includingmost recently, Democracy Without Journalism? Confronting the Misinformation Society.
