Tim Davies

Tim Davies is Director of Research and Practice at Connected by Data, the campaign for communities to have a powerful voice in the governance of data and AI. He led the development of the People’s Panel on AI alongside the UK AI Safety Summit and is co-author of Options for Global Citizen Deliberation on AI. He holds an MSc in Social Science of the Internet from the Oxford Internet Institute and a BA in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from Oriel College Oxford. He was co-editor of The State of Open Data: Histories and Horizons and co-founder of Open Data Services Co-operative and the Global Data Barometer.
