Sushmita

Sushmita is an international award-winning journalist, researcher, photographer, and a former engineer. She has worked on issues of climate change, infrastructure, environmental justice, forest governance, health, gender and more.

She is a former Pulitzer Center grantee, Society of Environmental journalists’ and Uproot Project's 2024 diversity fellow, winner of Covering Climate Now awards 2024 (Justice category) and Red Ink Awards for excellence in Indian Journalism, 2022.
