Sarah Forland

Sarah Forland is a policy analyst with the Open Technology Institute (OTI) at New America, where her work covers privacy, security, and surveillance online. Working at the intersection of tech and democracy, her work focuses on building a healthier, equitable, and just future for all. Previous to this role she worked with the Digital Impact and Governance Initiative covering digital public infrastructure and digital access, and has a background researching social media, disinformation, and emerging technologies.
