Dr. Ranjana Kumari, a distinguished luminary in the domain of women's empowerment across South Asia, occupies the position of Director at the Centre for Social Research while also chairing Women Power Connect. Renowned for her steadfast dedication to driving societal change, she boasts an impressive repertoire of acclaimed publications. Dr. Kumari's influential footprint extends as the Coordinator of the South Asia Network Against Trafficking in Persons (SANAT) and as a member of pivotal advisory bodies, including the Central Advisory Board on the 'Pre-Conception and Pre-Natal Diagnostic Tests Act, 2001,' and the Central Advisory Committee for Prevention of Trafficking in Women and Children. Her global impact is palpable through her roles such as serving on the Task Force on Industrial Relations for the International Labour Organisation (ILO) in Geneva and holding a senior professional position at the United Nations. Presently, she lends her expertise as a member of Meta's Global Safety Advisory Council, the Safety Advisory at Teleperformance, the Grievance Redressal Board of OTTP, and the Board of Advisors for the Advertisers Council of India.
