Przemyslaw Grabowicz

Przemyslaw (short Przemek, pronounced as /Pshemek/) Grabowicz is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the University College Dublin and an Adjunct Professor of Computer Science at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Przemek received his Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Physics from the Institute for Cross-Disciplinary Physics and Complex Systems (2014, cum laude) and M.Sci. from Warsaw University of Technology (2008, cum laude). He was a postdoctoral researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Software Systems and a Research Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where he led the EQUATE initiative. Przemek heads the SIMS research lab, which focuses on research at the intersection of technology and society. He has been awarded prestigious grants from the Volkswagen Foundation and National Science Foundation. His research publications received two international awards and were featured among others at the top of Reddit's Science and in El Mundo, El País, and Phys.org.
