Olalekan J. Akintande

Olalekan J. Akintande is a lecturer and researcher in the Computational Statistics Unit at the University of Ibadan. His research interests fall under algorithmic fairness, responsible AI, machine intelligence systems, statistical learning and ethics with application to sustainable development goals (SDGs) and other socially impactful research. O.J. has won many international awards, including two of his research works that were awarded most impactful research addressing SDGs by Elsevier. He was also awarded a Microsoft Ph.D. Research Fellowship in 2021 and has published in many International research outlets.
