Michele Benedetto Neitz
Michele Benedetto Neitz is the Founder and Academic Director of the Center for Law, Tech, and Social Good at the University of San Francisco School of Law—the first center of its kind in the United States. As a professor at USF Law, she teaches courses including Blockchain Technology and the Law, Business Associations, and Legal Ethics. In 2019, Professor Neitz was appointed to the California Blockchain Working Group to advise the state legislature on blockchain policy. She currently serves as a member of the United Nations Development Programme’s Discussion Group on AI and Development in Latin America and the Caribbean and is a member of the Virtual Currency Advisory Board for the New York State Department of Financial Services.
