Michael L. Bąk

Michael L. Bąk is a Non-Resident Visiting Senior Fellow at the NYU Center for Global Affairs focusing on cyber policy and a recognized specialist in democratic governance, public policy, civil society, human rights, and ethical tech policy. He also serves on the Board of Advisors for the Centre for AI Leadership (C4AI) in Singapore and is Co-Founder of Sprint Public Interest, a Thailand-based public interest research agency on a mission to help people build their best lives through inspired, sustainable policymaking based on inclusive data insights and storytelling. Previously, he was Executive Director of the Paris-based Forum on Information and Democracy, was a public policy leader at Facebook/Meta, and served in senior roles at the United Nations and US Agency for International Development. He has lived much of his life in Southeast Asia.
