Michael Caster

Michael Caster (he/him) is the Head of the Global China Program at ARTICLE 19, where he covers China's global influence on freedom of expression and information, with a focus on technology and human rights issues. He is also the co-founder of Safeguard Defenders, a human rights organization focused on China. He has a Masters in Law and Diplomacy from the Fletcher School at Tufts University and a Masters in Conflict Studies and Human Rights from the University of Utrecht.
