Mateus Correia De Carvalho

Mateus Correia de Carvalho is a Ph.D. researcher at the European University Institute, in Florence. His research focuses on the EU’s risk regulation of artificial intelligence and digital platforms, and its relation to the traditional structures of EU governance and the European system of fundamental rights protection. Mateus holds a Bachelor of Laws from the NOVA School of Law of Lisbon and an LL.M in European Union Law from Maastricht University. He is furthermore an editor of the European Journal of Legal Studies.
