Marisa Shea

Marisa Shea is Head of Policy for the TAG Movement. She is a lawyer with over a decade of experience advocating for legislative and policy reform at the state and federal levels. Prior to joining the TAG Movement team, Marisa was working getting money out of politics and anti-corruption efforts with End Citizens United. She previously spent several years working on tech accountability and online safety reform efforts across multiple state houses for 5Rights US and as a consultant for a few different kids online safety efforts. Marisa began her career working in and around the California State Legislature, serving as policy committee staff for both the California Senate Human Services and Judiciary Committees, as well as an advocate for child welfare reform.
