Mariel Povolny

Mariel Povolny is an MA candidate at Columbia's School of International and Public Affairs where she is a researcher with the Trust & Safety Tooling Consortium, housed at the Columbia Institute of Global Politics. Her research interests are in digital rights and equitable internet governance. Before joining SIPA, Mariel worked as a disaster case manager for undocumented New Yorkers.
