Manon Revel

Manon Revel is an Employee Fellow at the Berkman Klein Center at Harvard. Her research lies at the intersection of applied mathematics and political philosophy, focusing on human and AI decision-making dynamics. She develops mathematical frameworks to enhance our understanding of innovative governance systems such as liquid democracy and sortition. Her work also aims to establish a foundation for evaluating the training dynamics involved in AI alignment. Manon earned her PhD in Social and Engineering Systems and Statistics from MIT, where she also completed her MSc in Technology and Policy. Additionally, she holds a Diplôme d'Ingénieur (MSc equivalent) in Applied Mathematics and a BSc in Engineering from École Centrale Paris. Previously, she was a Democracy Doctoral Fellow at the Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation at the Harvard Kennedy School. She worked at the Responsible AI Institute, the Bell Labs, Palantir, and the Center for Strategic and International Studies.
