Leo Fitzpatrick

Leo Fitzpatrick is a policy counsel on Free Press’ policy team who collaborates with coalition partners advocating for legislative and regulatory policies to help narrow the digital divide, ensure that broadband deployment and access are equitable, and ensure that policymakers address the affordability needs of low-income people and their families. Leo leads Free Press’ efforts to address the unjust and unaffordable calling rates for incarcerated people; closely monitors the implementation of the FCC’s Affordable Connectivity benefit, Emergency Broadband Benefit and Lifeline programs; and steers Free Press’ strategy to advocate for more resilient communications networks.
