Jordan Kraemer

Jordan Kraemer, PhD, is Director of Research at ADL’s Center for Technology & Society and an anthropologist of emerging media. At ADL, she leads research addressing online hate and harassment. She is also the author of a book on social and mobile media in Berlin, due out from Cornell University Press in 2024. Her work has appeared in Catalyst: Feminism, Theory, TechnoscienceGlobal PerspectivesAnthropological Quarterly; and Fast Company, among others. Previously, she was an SSRC Just Tech COVID-19 Rapid Response grantee and a Mellon Postdoctoral Fellow at Wesleyan University, and has taught feminist technology studies at NYU’s Tandon School of Engineering. She holds an MA in social science from the University of Chicago and a PhD in cultural anthropology from UC Irvine.
