Jonathan Walter

As Media & Democracy Program Fellow, Jonathan Walter assists the Program Director in advocacy work on a variety of issues, including broadband access, net neutrality, media consolidation, and platform accountability. Prior to joining Common Cause, Jonathan served as a Fellow at Public Knowledge, a Labor & Health Policy Fellow at the House Committee on Education and Labor, and a judicial intern at the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina. In law school, he was a Senior Staffer for the Journal of Law and Technology. Jonathan holds a J.D. from the University of Richmond School of Law and a B.S from the University of South Carolina.
