Jonathan Corpus Ong

Jonathan Corpus Ong is Professor of Global Digital Media at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He is the inaugural director of the Global Technology for Social Justice Lab, which supports research and advocacy centering the Global South in critical tech studies. Together with colleagues in Brazil and the Philippines, he is leading a South-to-South Knowledge Exchange network project for the tech and democracy space. Jonathan is one of 28 recipients of an Andrew Carnegie Fellowship (2022-2024). Follow him on X @jonathan_c_ong.
