Joël M. Carter is a Research Associate at the University of Texas at Austin Center for Media Engagement. He holds a Master’s of Global Policy from the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs and investigates issues on data privacy, mass surveillance, and is interested in intellectual property.
