Technology and Democracy
Jamie Neikrie is the legislative lead for the Council for Responsible Social Media, an initiative of Issue One. In this role, he guides the federal legislative strategy and goals for the most comprehensive coalition established to hold social media platforms accountable for their impact on American children, communities, and democracy. Prior to joining Issue One, Jamie was a Coro Fellow in Public Affairs and worked in the Massachusetts State House, where he helped strengthen internal transparency practices and supported the state’s first Citizen Initiative Review. He holds a B.A. in political science from Tufts University.
