Haileleol Tibebu

Dr. Haileleol Tibebu is an AI scientist at the University of Houston, where he focuses on advanced research in responsible artificial intelligence. He has previously served as a lecturer and researcher at Loughborough University London. His research interests lie at the intersection of autonomous systems and the development of trustworthy AI frameworks and governance. Dr. Haileleol has also held the role of session chair at the high-level Responsible AI in Military Domain (REAIM) conference in The Hague. He is also a strong advocate for the inclusion of African perspectives in global AI discussions and dialogues.
