Gina Romero

Gina Romero, national of Colombia, was appointed as United Nations Special Rapporteur on the Rights to Freedom of Peaceful Assembly and of Association and started her mandate in May 2024. Her mandate focuses on promoting, and ensuring respect for, the rights to freedom of assembly and of association around the world, and in identifying key areas in which the content of these rights can be progressively developed.
