Emily Tavoulareas

Emily Tavoulareas is an adjunct professor and researcher at Georgetown's McCourt School of Public Policy, where she is focused on technology and public policy, building capacity in public institutions, and comparative studies of digital service work in different systems of government. For the past several years, she has been curating an oral history of the origin story of the US Digital Service. Prior to her time in academia, Emily was a founding member of the first agency-level team of the US Digital Service and served as Senior Policy Advisor to the US Chief Technology Officer at the White House.
