David Scales

David Scales is a practicing physician and assistant professor of medicine at Weill Cornell. He received his MD and PhD (Sociology) from Yale University and completed an Internal Medicine residency at Cambridge Health Alliance. His research focuses on understanding how structural factors affect our information environments to allow misinformation to propagate and misconceptions to persist.
