Asma Sifaoui is a Ph.D. candidate in Advertising at the Moody College of Communication at the University of Texas at Austin, a Graduate Research Fellow at the Center for Media Engagement, and a recipient of the University Graduate Continuing Fellowship. Her interdisciplinary research examines the intersections of privacy, surveillance, and emerging technologies, with a particular focus on advertising technology and data governance. Her work investigates how platform practices, regulatory frameworks, and algorithmic systems shape consumer trust and data privacy.
