Akash Kapur

Akash Kapur is a writer, academic and practitioner who has worked in technology policy for over two decades. He is a Senior Fellow at New America and the GovLab, and a Visiting Lecturer and Research Scholar at Princeton University. His work focuses on Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI), AI governance and public AI, Internet governance, and data ethics. He is a former New York Times columnist and his work has been published in The Atlantic, The Economist, The New Yorker, the Wall Street Journal, and more.
