Aditi Pillai

Aditi Pillai is currently a researcher at Citizen Digital Foundation, a non-profit working at the crossroads of technology and society in India. Her work focuses on the intersection of policy with emerging challenges in online child safety and AI governance in the global south. Her recent research project explores the relationship between content moderation in regional languages and online child safety on social media platforms in India. She is an incoming MSc student in Data and AI Ethics at
the University of Edinburgh (Class of 2024-25).
